The Silicon Valley Heart Ball is an intimate Gala where generous patrons of the American Heart Association come together for a night of networking and giving back to the community. This event is widely attended and supported by leaders in the technology and finance industries. It is a significant source of funds for the American Heart Association. Under the leadership of our 2015 Chair, Meg Whitman, CEO of HP Inc., we have set a goal to raise over $3M allowing many scientists the opportunity to further their knowledge and advance findings in the area of heart disease and stroke, saving numerous lives.
Heart disease and stroke continue to be the nation’s leading cause of death and leading cause of disability, respectively. Your support of the American Heart Association will help us in our strategic goal to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 20 percent by 2020.
